Zack Remington is a licensed life insurance agent and co-owner of Remington Insurance, where he works with clients to develop long-term retirement plans, navigate complicated Medicare options, and provide life insurance solutions.

Before becoming a licensed insurance agent in 2000, Zack spent over 15 years as a social worker. Because of his passion for helping others, Zack realigned his career focus to life insurance and started his own company, Remington Insurance, along with his wife and business partner, Karen.

Zack’s focus as an independent agent is to provide the best solutions for all of his clients. He loves working with those who are looking for guidance regarding their Medicare options, life insurance, and developing long-term care plans, and retirement plans that ensure a smooth transition from working years to golden years.

Karen Remington is a licensed life insurance agent working as part of the team at Remington Insurance, where she plays an instrumental role in developing life insurance solutions for individuals throughout Maine and Vermont.

A former residential counselor, behavior specialist, and career counselor for the State of Vermont, Karen left the mental health field in 2003 and obtained her Life & Health license, joining her husband Zack in building their company, Remington Insurance. The couple moved their business from Vermont to Maine in 2015, but Karen still returns frequently to work with her clients in her home state.

As an independent agent, Karen is free to work solely in the best interests of her clients and offers them guidance in many areas.

Dori Smith is a dedicated office professional based in Cornish, Maine, where she plays an important support role at Remington Insurance Agency. Since stepping into her position in 2020, Dori has been known for her organization, reliability, and love for all animals— helping keep daily operations running smoothly and ensuring clients feel welcomed and cared for.

Rooted in the small-town values that define the Cornish community, Dori brings a thoughtful and personable approach to her work. Whether assisting clients, managing administrative details, or supporting her team, she approaches each day with patience and professionalism.

Outside of the office, Dori appreciates the close-knit feel of the Maine community and the simple joys that come with small-town life. Her commitment to service and her friendly demeanor make her a valued part of both her workplace and the local community.
